Cabin in June

During June we also got to spend some wonderful time up north.

There was time at the lake.  Boppa's famous canoe rides and fishing tutelage.
 And a little toe dangling.
We also celebrated Natalie's birthday with Amma and Boppa.  As usual, they outdid themselves.
And thanks to one of their gifts Natalie and Dad got in an airplane practice build.
There was even a visit in Crivitz for an Anderson campout at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house.
What Deschane event would be complete without a food, water, or some other playful fight, especially if an uncle or two and/or Boppa is around?  This one involved Nerf guns and a frightening display of destructiveness from both girls.
What they have yet to learn is you shouldn't sneak attack those who freely provide the cookies.
We loved our cabin time, as we always do.  Thanks, Amma, Boppa, and Uncle Benny!

Skittle Turns 4!!

Our big girl turned 4!! It started out with some balloons as these things usually do.

Then it was off to Papa Don's Ranch for some horseback riding.

Lots of family and friends came out, including Zack Purvis (with parents in tow).

Audrey was even brave enough to want some solo cowgirl time!

We got to see some new calves,

Go for lots of tractor & boat rides,

And eat pizza and cake! There were baby chicks and princesses galore.

Happy birthday to our eldest Princess, looking forward to another amazing year!

Amazing Anthem, Arizona

We're lucky enough to have spent last week at Hotel de Burch in Anthem, AZ - another great family trip squeezed into our time down South.

There was lots of cousin craziness and fun together.  (Man, getting 4 kids in one frame is tricky!)

Even big girl slumber parties!
Lots of Lolo and Papa Don time for the whole crew.
Plenty of great weather for park playtimes.

A few fun flying object sightings!
Some productivity too.
And a very fun Valentines surprise package (treat-filled balloons to pop!) for all the kiddos from Uncle Brian, Mimi, and Cal.
(There was also a very memorable family fun day in Sedona, AZ - separate post coming soon.)

We loved our stay and we love you, Burchs!  Thanks again for the marvelous time.  We miss you!
