Thankful

We have so much to be thankful for.  We were blessed to spend this holiday with our family in our new home.  And apparently we were too busy having so much fun that these are all the pictures we got!

 Thanks for a beautiful Thanksgiving, Amma, Boppa, Uncle Brian, Calvin, Eleanor, and Aunt Sam!

Veterans Day With Our Veterans

Veteran's Day this year was one for the ages. All of the Holleys gathered in Brenham for the dedication of an F-111 my dad, a team, and the community spent the last 3 years restoring with the permission of the Museum of the Air Force.  It is now on permanent static display standing proudly to remind us that all gave some and some gave all.  We were blessed with the presence of 2 Vietnam POWs shot down in an F-111.  I don't think any who encountered them will ever forget their story, their bravery, and their humility.  Six F-111s were lost during the Vietnam War carrying twelve men, these two came home.

While it was a fast trip we crammed the days with family, friends, and hometown fun.

God bless America, this family, everyone who traveled for the event, and all of those in Brenham who have left such a beautiful legacy for the community.
