Calvin's Confirmation

A whirlwind 48-hour-mid-week trip to Wisconsin to celebrate Calvin's Confirmation! 

We went on a college visit to get the girls' absences excused. Natalie found a civilian school she'll apply to!

Then on to the main event! We were very proud to watch our godson take this step in his faith. Natalie was honored to sponsor. Saint Benedict Joseph Labre, pray for us!

Deschane Cabin Week

Up north = happy place. What a great week of family (Amma, Boppa, Aunt Sam, Gus, Uncle Benny, Uncle Brian, Aunt Mimi, Uncle Adam, Aunt Rochelle, Calvin, and Eleanor), great-aunts and great-grandparents, wedding planning (!!), fishing, kayaking, ice cream, supper clubs, berry picking, games, sweatshirts, bonfires, s'mores, water balloon fights, laser tag, airsoft guns, swimming, Commander rides, the candy shop, brats, corn, rock hiding, spoiled puppies, and no cell signal. We're recharged and our hearts are full. 

 

PA Cousins Week

Love these 4 and the annual PA cousins week of sun, swimming, and shenanigans.

Family Cabin Week

It was an eventful visit this year with bouts of Covid for 3 of the 4 cousins. Thankfully no one else caught it. We usually take hundreds of pics this week but the kids were so busy running around together, kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, water ballooning, playing in the loft, playing marbles, and eating gummy bears that we barely got any! Bad parents, I know. But everyone had a ball. We love this week!
