Cousins Week

 As we always do, we had a wonderful time with family here last week. Especially thrilled for one more cousin in the bunch this year!

Brian's Funeral and Cabin Week

Our annual summer trip home to WI began sadly as we laid Brian to rest in Stoughton on Monday. So many people gathered to show their support, offer their prayers, and share their memories. The kids were amazingly strong, each taking part in the Mass.

Then we headed north and enjoyed time away together.

Audrey and Samantha organized the first Deschane Olympics - men (green) vs women (purple) vs cousins (blue). There was an opening ceremony by the bonfire. Contests included badminton, cheese tasting, bocce ball, cake decorating, and colorku. Teams were awarded bronze, silver, and golden acorns. We all had a blast.

We love our time with family and we pray for Brian.
