Aunt Sami was kind enough to spend her Spring Break with us at the Big White House. We enjoyed some great family time and relaxation together. She very patiently taught the girls to strum the guitar.
We baked some St. Patrick's Day cupcakes.
And we went to see Frozen in the movie theater. We now hear renditions of "Let It Go" more times per day than we can count. We loved having her here and thank her for coming up!
When we took her back to DC we stayed a couple of days since Chris had a conference there. Old favorite restaurants, a dinner with Kirk, hotel swimming pool, and cable TV? Yes, please! We also took the girls to the Natural History Museum and the other big White House.
After our downtown adventures we spent the weekend in Virginia with the Taylors. No real agenda, just fun with dear old friends.
Michelle even arranged a babysitter so the adults could go to dinner alone for the first time since Natalie and Briana were born!
We had a great impromptu Spring Break!
