Easter 2014

Another first in our house this year - Easter on our own.  We had a lovely day with a nice church service, good friends, and lots of treats.
We shared the day with our friends and neighbors, Josh and Leslie.

The morning began with 2 eager girls delighted to discover a note from E. Bunny.
The hunt was on!

And ended in quite the haul.
Big baskets full too.
Dad tried (unsuccessfully) to convince Natalie that she really didn't want all those Reese's eggs.
Everyone pitched in in the kitchen
And Chris made an egg-cellent leg of lamb.  Even the girls were fans!
We wound down the afternoon with visits from a few neighborhood girls, lots of candy, some contemplation,
 A few tiny ponies,
 And some Fruit Ninja.
We had a great day and are truly blessed.  He is risen!

Spring Break - WI and Chicago

Yes, we made 3 Spring Break trips this year.  Gotta go do these things before we have a child in school next year!

This trip took us home to WI.  Chris had a conference in Chicago so we took the opportunity to spend some time in Stoughton.  We loved seeing everyone there!  The 3 Musketeers were in full force.  They are not nearly as quiet as these pictures would lead you to believe but it is hard to catch all 3 of them at once!
We ended the trip with one night in Chicago with the Rosenstocks.  The girls didn't miss a beat.
And we got to meet their newest princess, Charlotte.  A doll!
Seeing so many family and friends this month has been extraordinary.  We love and miss you all already!

Spring Break - AZ

Chris had a week's worth of conferences in Phoenix so we packed up our bathing suits, left our winter coats behind, and headed to visit the Burchs!
Papa Don and Lolo came too so there was lots of great family time.
And lots of cousin shenanigans.
We celebrated the April and May birthday (5 of the 10 of us) for a combined age of 111!
We visited Indian ruins at Montezuma's Well
And Tuzigoot.

Had fun around Anthem feeding ducks and riding the train
Prepped for Easter by dying eggs and honing the hunting skills
And, of course, swam a lot!
The flight home brought the added bonus of a cockpit tour.
Captain

 And 1st Officer
Another 5 star trip to Arizona!  We love you, Holleys!
