St. Timothy Christmas Program, Audrey's 1st Recital, and Amma, Boppa, and Cal Visit!
It was a busy weekend! Amma, Boppa, and Calvin traveled from WI to be here for Audrey's very first ballet recital. But before that they were able to attend her preschool Christmas program as well. She sang loud and proud!
What fun to have everyone here!
Then the big night!
Her class danced to "Welcome Christmas" to open the show titled "The Grinch." She's front and center (5th child from the left below). She remembered her moves exceptionally and danced with grace and style. She LOVED the stage! She leaped back to her seat on stage once their number was complete and bubbled with excitement telling us all about it afterward. We are SO proud of our budding star who was in her element that night. She has passion and we can't wait to watch what she does next - literally.
Sunday we exchanged gifts with Amma and Boppa.
There were many Legoes and the kids promptly got to work.
Jurassic attack at Heartlake Stables! The T-Rex ate a cat and a frog then burped.
And even more Advent Star Wars Legoes.
These 3 were in full Musketeer mode, ran hard, and had a great time all weekend.
We loved the extra family time and sharing such special events together. Thank you, Deschanes, for making the trip and effort to be here. Our hearts are full.

Stormtroopers and Angels
Annual cut-out cookie time! With friends this year which obviously makes it better. Audrey and I cut out and baked the cookies earlier in the day so they were ready for decorating after school. Audrey was thrilled to discover we had Star Wars cookie cutters and exclaimed, "We're going to have Dark Side cookies!" And, "Here, Mommy. Here's a Stormtrooper and an angel." Ah, Christmas spirit.
